What: Advanced Guerrilla Lighting Workshop with two female models and a make-up artist (MUA). The session will include swimwear during the afternoon and life style images during the sunset hours. Students will have lots of opportunities to capture some amazing images for their portfolio along with the model releases.

When: Sunday, October 03, 2010 (3:00PM to 9PM)

Where: On location at a So Cal Beach

How: He will be teaching a hand-on “Advanced Guerrilla Lighting Workshop” where students will set up lights and shoot two models with Ben on hand to instruct.

Cost: The class is limited to 12 students and the cost is $229/person. Please take another $25 off/person if you sign up with a buddy. Drinks, model and model releases will be provided.

Bring your DSLR camera gear and a PocketWizards (any model as long as it can transmit. You can rent the PocketWizards at Samys Camera or Calumet for $10-12 if you don't have one). You will have plenty of time to shoot and obtain images for your portfolio.

Details: The Advanced Guerrilla Lighting Workshop is designed specifically for Ben’s past students who have completed the introductory Guerrilla Lighting Workshop or experienced photographers that can demonstrate necessary lighting skills. It is entirely being conducted on location (a So Cal beach). Ben will start the workshop by giving everyone a quick “refresher” course and follow by students setting up two sets of lights, using various light modifiers to photograph two models. Students will learn how analyze a location and choose a proper background. Students will also learn how to create beautiful and majestic images with awesome models. The workshop will end with students capturing beautiful images of models in sunset (subject to weather condition).

Prerequisites: Students need completed Ben's introductory Guerrilla Lighting Workshop and understand how to balance between ambient and off-camera lights.
