What: Full-day, 8-hour Guerrilla Speedlight Workshop consists of lecture, lighting demo, live model and model release will be provided. Students will have plenty of time to capture some great well lit images using speedlights.

When: Sunday, Sept. 19, 2010 from 1 PM to 9 PM (we are hoping to do a "City Lights" at one of Ben's favorite location with a great view of the city lights. This portion is subject to weather conditions)
Where: On location, Azusa Pacific University (East Campus), CA If weather permitting, the last few hours of the class will be conducted outdoors

Details: Guerrilla Speedlight Workshop is a new 8-hour workshop that covers “On” and “Off” Camera lighting with speedlights. We will be exploring various TTL methods including bounce on-camera TTL flash and off-camera lighting with manual settings. In addition, Ben will also cover multiple speedlight set up as well as various light modifiers including strip lights and “Beauty Dishes” for speedlights. Model will be present for you to photograph. Model releases will be provided so you can legally use the images. The workshop will ends with a “City Lights” shoot from 8-9 PM.
Cost: The class is limited to 12 students and the cost is $229/person. Take $25 off/person if you sign up with a buddy. Lunch, drinks, model and model releases will be provided.
Professional model will be provided for the workshop. Bring your DSLR camera, tripod, cable release if you have one, speedlights and a PocketWizards (any model as long as it can transmit. You can rent the PocketWizards at Samys Camera or Calumet for $10-12 if you don't have one). You will have plenty of time to shoot and obtain images for your portfolio.
Cancellation Policy: Full-refund two-week prior to the start of the class. If you need to cancel after two-week prior, a credit will be issued toward the next class.
Prerequisites: Students need to have a clear understanding of exposure and the workings of their DSLR cameras as well as TTL functions with the speedlight. Students should be able to make a properly exposed photo in the Manual mode of the camera.
